Pakistan captain Younis Khan will play against India in the second match of the ICC Champions Trophy, Pakistani Cricket Board said. Younis - who missed Pakistan inaugural match against West Indies but will be available for the crucial match against India.
“Younis suffered a minor hairline fracture in his right-hand finger during Pakistan's practice match against Sri Lanka. But will be available for the crucial match against India,” Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement.
Younis – who suffered with a minor hairline fracture in his right hand finger however after detailed examination of injury Younis has been advised rest by the doctors and is under treatment. “He under medication could have been available for the match against West Indies which Pakistan won by 5 wickets but team management decided not to take risk so that he could be fully fit and available for the crunch game against arch-rivals India on September 26 at centurion,” statement added.
